Texting while driving project Hey guy's I'm going to be sharing about an important issue that is going on in today's society. Texting while driving is a big problem because loved ones are dying and people are getting into accidents. I believe that texting while driving is dangerous. Distracted driving causes harm to families, friends and other people. There are statistics that show that many people are effected by texting while driving. Texting while driving must stop. It’s a problem among drivers young and old. According to the source, The Dangers of Distracted Driving , "Just under 3,500 people were killed in distracted driving accidents in 2015, and another 391,000 were injured" ( Teen Safe Protecting Your Most Valuable Treasure). I've learned a lot from writing about blogs, the most impotant thing i've learned is that your creativity can be shown is so many ways; also you can write about anything. When commenting on other blogs I've leaned that some of my other peer's have the same interest as me. Writing a blog is important because other peer's get to hear what you have to say on certain topics or issues in todays society. I didn't really have a favorite blog because its not really fair to others, I thought they were all great to read. I don't have a certain blog that is stuck in my head.

Average Day in the Life of Jaedyn

My grandma on my dad's side was really important to me.  She always told me to stay true to myself.  I enjoyed her sense of humor and her feelings about not allowing "white" women to do my hair.  One time I was having a talk with my grandma about my hair.  Her advise to me was to not let white women other than your mom or older sister, Raven do my hair.  She really liked my mom and Raven not saying anything negative about them. However, she didn't approve of my dad's girlfriend doing my hair because of the color of her skin.  I don't think my grandma was a racist person however she struggled with our generation and what's going on. I have so many fond memories of my grandma.  She was open to talking about anything with my younger sister and I.  When things were going downhill with my dad she would always say, "he's being silly and needs to get his act right."  When she met my niece, Gianna she fell for her right away.  She had a deep...

Average Day in the Life of Jaedyn

Growing up my grandpa who we called "Papa" was more like my dad than my biological dad. My Papa was an amazing man who had a great sense of humor brought and joy to my day. I loved every moment I spent with him.  Some of my fondest memories included him taking my sister Endy and I to McDonald's before school, getting to have a talk with him in the hospital when he was really sick, and our trips to Dairy Queen. One of the reasons that I viewed Papa as my dad was he cared so much about my sisters and I. He would do anything for us no matter what.  He inspired me to do great things and offer kindness to all. Papa was the type of guy that would tell you exactly how he felt.  He was brutally honest.  He always told me that he would be there for me regardless of what was going on.  He didn't understand my dad's actions but never put him down. Hi, welcome to my blog. My name is Jaedyn. This blog is about an average day in a teenage girls life. My family is a big part of who I am. Like many kids these days my parents are divorced which has it's perks but also it's disappointments. My parents divorced when I was young and pretty much all I've known is them in two separate homes. My mother is a strong and independent woman. She can be a little crazy sometimes overreacting about little things like the time I spend on my phone. Often times she says, "Jaedyn all you do is sit in your room and stare at your phone."
